Services
One-on-One, Personalized Coaching
I can work with you to develop strategies and skills for leading teams that listen and collaborate.
I can work with you to develop your own skills for collaborating and listening.
I can work with you to develop habits and practices for a successful creative process.
I can collaborate with you as a thought partner in your creative projects.
One-on-one coaching involves meeting for hour-long sessions on a regular schedule as determined by your needs and goals. These meetings may take place in person (my preference), over the phone, or by video. During our preliminary discussions, we will establish goals and expected timelines. While some clients experience transformative shifts in only a few sessions, most coaching relationships of the kind that I offer extend over a few months or even longer. During our sessions, we will engage in a process of self-discovery and skill-building, and I will offer exercises for you to practice between sessions.

Generally speaking, coaching is focused on helping you achieve your future goals, while psychotherapy tends to focus on understanding what elements of your past and present life are contributing to your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors right now. Psychotherapists are also trained to help people who are facing mental illnesses, while coaches are not. The focus in psychotherapy is more on healing from the past, while the focus in coaching is more on getting you to where you wish to be next.
